2005 jeep wrangler se: 2. 4 liter dohc powertech 4 cylinder, 6-speed manual transmission: this jeep has 141,775 miles on her with 5-previous owners(the last had her 3yr 5mo) and is in good condition for a 2005. It has the dohc 2. 4 engine which was introduced into the jeeps in 2003 and makes 150hp&167lbft vs. The outgoing 2. 539,s 120hp&139lbft and 2005 was the 1st year the wrangler was offered with the 6-speed manual transmission. This is a jeep wrangler and as such has manual doorlocks, manual seats, and crank windows. It does have a nice kenwood cd player that is hd radio and satellite radio ready. The 6-speed transmission has a 5-ball shifter(previous owner must have had a good sense of humor). The interior is in pretty good condition for the year with a small tear on the drivers seat being the only real trouble spot as otherwise the seats are in excellent condition. The top does have some wear and the rear zipper does not function and is zip tied in place though the top can still be removed. The tires are bfgoodrich all terrain t/a39,s with around u of their tread still remaining and showing a manufactured date of september 2012. The engine does have a spectre cold air intake with a boost guage mounted to the drivers left on the dash to monitor vacuum and has had the a/c removed likely to provide the engine with more power. This is a nice looking jeep though it has done some jeep things and as such there are scrapes and scratches and scuffs from offroad driving(it39,s a jeep after all) but mechanically it is in great condition and has passed colorado emissions. At $8,995 this wrangler is an absolute steal(carfax history based value says it39,s worth $11,090 in present goodcondition and we39,re over $2,000 below that). This jeep has a lot of miles left in her and is in excellent running condition with great tires ready for more offroad fun!
